In the near future, ÍAV in cooperation with Marti Contractor Ltd., are planning to increase their participation in tunnel projects, both here in Iceland as well as internationally. We are hoping to be able to utilize the vast knowledge and experience accumulated over the past years here in Iceland. To achieve this we want to get in contact with persons that might be interested in working with ÍAV in this field in the future.

We are seeking experienced people in tunneling and more specifically:

• Tunnel rig operators
• Chargers and blasters
• Concrete spraying operators
• Tunneling foremen (Foremen for Tunnel Excavation)
• Service electricians for tunneling equipment
• Geologists – Sedimentary mapping
• Survey specialists - Tunnel surveyors
• Engineers with tunneling knowledge and management experience
