The casting of the annex to Glaesibaer Shopping Centre – an eight-storey, 10,000-m³ building with a two-storey basement – is complete.

Construction on the project began in March 2006. The new building stands to the west of the main shopping centre at Glaesibaer. Last December Iceland Prime Contractor completed the construction of an attached three-storey parking garage with space for nearly 400 vehicles. Outdoor finishing is underway, as is the installation of fixtures on the bottom floors of the building. Space in the building will be rented out, and the first tenants will take possession of their premises in December 2007.
