On 23rd April 2003 the impressive headquarters for the Reykjavík Power Authority were officially opened. IPC employees began work on the interior in February, 2002. The building is 14,000 m2 and is comprised of two separate buildings, one with seven floors and one with eight floors. The two buildings are connected by a 27 meter high glass construction. There is parquet on ca 7,400 m2. Terrasso tiles cover ca. 2,000 m2 of flooring. There is ca 7,000 m2 of aluminium panelling in the ceilings.
