The new Concert and Conference Centre (CCC) is under construction in the old city harbour in Reykjavik, Iceland. The Concert and Conference Centre will contain a main Concert Hall seating about 1800, a smaller Rehearsal Hall seating 450 and a Conference Hall seating 750. The facade is an artistic work created by the artist Ólafur Elíasson in cooperation with Henning Larsen Architects and the engineers Rambøll, Switbert Greiner and Ralf Rache. The Concert and Conference Centre Works comprises one building, with three different types of facades. - Quasi Brick façade, - Cut Quasi brick facade - Conventional glazed facade The facilities will be opened in December 2009 for concerts, conferences and related events. The work is described in enclosed documents to design and build one of the most prestigious facade ever built.

The new Concert and Conference Centre (CCC) is under construction in the old city harbour in Reykjavik, Iceland. The Concert and Conference Centre will consist of a main Concert Hall seating about 1800, a smaller Rehearsal Hall seating 450 and a Conference Hall seating 750, all on level 2, and the 4th Hall on plan level 1. In addition there will be smaller meeting rooms, breakout rooms, exhibition area, restaurant, VIP rooms and offices and rehearsal facilities for the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra. The Concert and Conference Centre will be designed and constructed with an emphasis on a top-quality acoustic environment, with technical facilities of high standard. The facilities will be opened in December 2009 for concerts, conferences and related events. IPC intends to prequalify contractors for the following five tender packages under the Performance Equipment Project in the National Concert and Conference Centre in Reykjavík, Iceland. The seller shall produce and deliver concrete to Concert and Conference Centre in accordance with the delivery plan. Total quantity of concrete is estimated to be 34.000 m3 and shall be delivered from December 2006 till April 2008. This can be extended if an amendment is signed regarding further development of EHP.
