Grand Hotel Reykjavik
The building is more than 14.000 m² on fourteen floors i.e. a basement, 12 whole floors, indented penthouse floor and a small area on top of the elevator shafts, that is used as a panorama meeting room.
The building is tall and majestic and the tower accommodates 209 spacious rooms. It is also the new main entrance to the hotel with reception area that is connected to a covered inside garden and the service area in the basement and on the first floor.
The older part of the hotel is approx. 8.000 m² so with the new building the total size of the hotel is more than 22.000 m² with 314 rooms.
