Gullengi Meadow 6
In May 2006 IPC employees commenced construction of a residential building located at Gullengi Meadow 2-6 in the Reykjavík neighbourhood of Grafarvogur.
Gullengi Meadow 6 is a three-storey multiple-family dwelling with three flats per floor. Each flat has a separate entry. In the basement are storage rooms for each apartment; storage for bicycles, strollers, and prams; and an area for technical facilities. There is also storage space for bicycles and prams on the ground floor. The building stands on a grassy and desirable spot close to all essential services, including public schools and retail stores.
The exterior walls have a pebbled texture and are partially clad with timber, as is specified in the architectural drawings. The common areas and lot are fully finished, with a network of snow-melting pipes in a portion of the stone-paved walkways. The apartments will be delivered fully finished, with tiled floors in the bathrooms and laundry rooms but without other floor coverings. The lot has been finished in accordance with the architectural drawings. Completion is scheduled for April 2007. Project manager is Kristján Leifsson, and the construction manager is Haukur Thórisson.
