Harpa is a finalist in an architectural competition
Harpa has reached the finals in an architectural competition in Europe. The competition is the Mies van der Rohe award for modern architecture.
Harpa is now in a group off five other buildings in Europe who will be competing for the award, 335 proposals were submitted from 37 countries.
This is a huge victory for the architects and designers who contributed to the design of the Harp.
Nominated for the awards for Harp are:
Batteriid architects, Henning Larsen Architects and Olafur Eliasson studio.
We at IAV are of course very proud of having been the main contractor off Harp project.
