Playschool is being built by IPC for Skógarland, Eastern County
A contract was signed 27th of May 2004 between IPC and the abovenamed County to build a new playschool in Egilsstaðir. With assistance from the children from the playschool, the first piece of ground has been turned.
The contract was signed at 13.30 in the County Offices at Lyngás 12, in Egilsstaðir, based on bids received.
The first phase shall be 880 square meters to house four departments, as well as joint areas for six departments. The landscaping and parking for 31 cars shall be provided together with various playground equipment and other equipment.
The playschool is scheduled to be handed over for occupancy in May, 2005.
The Project Manager is Guðgeir Sigurjónsson. It is planned that an average of 15 IPC employees will be involved and IPC also plans to utilise local manpower where possible.
